TERMS AND CONDITIONS : Warranty, Return & Privacy Policies
All products, unless noted otherwise, are covered by a one-year warranty for repairs against manufacturer defects.
Defective units are covered under the manufacture based on their warranty policy. If the product is discontinued or unavailable, then you will be eligible for a product of comparable value and specification.
Product- To the extent that the Sale Equipment is the subject of a warranty provided by the manufacturer of the Sale Equipment (Manufacturer Warranty), Breakers Stereo & Performance will do all things reasonably necessary to ensure that the Customer obtains the benefit of the Manufacturer Warranty during the period of time for which the Manufacturer Warranty applies under the terms of the Manufacturer Warranty.
Voids product warranty- Abuse, subject to manufacturer and/or Breakers Stereo & Performance discretion, also VOIDS limited lifetime warranty (if applicable)
30-day return policy on all uninstalled equipment:
Equipment that has been used or installed can be returned but only if deemed in returnable condition and only towards credit towards new equipment. Customers will be responsible for shipping cost to Breakers Stereo and Performance for all returns, warranties, exchanges, etc. Once equipment is received and deemed in Returnable Condition then the refund will be issued. Please include all packaging, owner’s manual and hardware for all returns. Installed equipment is not eligible for refund.
Refunds will be issued to the same credit card, debit card, gift certificate, or other form of payment used in the original transaction and may take 3-5 business days to process.
Breakers Stereo & Performance may refuse a customer return or charge a restocking fee when the returned item is not like new. Conditions that will lead to refused returns or restocking fees include when the returned item has:
- A different serial number than the one originally shipped.
- Missing parts or the original product packing material.
- Damage because it was improperly packaged for return shipment. Please make sure all items are safely packaged and protected. Poor packaging and damage claims are the responsibility of the shipper.
- Any sign of use – including installation, scratches, or other signs of use such as physical marking, screw holes, or similar.
- Tags, stickers and other manufacturer labels removed or tampered.
- Missing parts or the original product packaging is damaged or tampered.
- Mounted or used subwoofer enclosures and speaker boxes.
- Blown, punctured or fried speakers, subwoofers and amplifiers.
- Visible or physical damage not limited to but including: damage caused by gravity, driver cone or surround damaged due to panel interference, over excursion, driver “ported”, terminal broken off or melted, finger poking, mishandling, water and/or other liquids, welded/melted/burned voice coils or destroyed formers will not be covered
Items noted in description as “non-refundable”, pre-cut wire, software, downloads, special order items and made-to-order-items
Damaged Product from Shipment:
You have 7 days from delivery date to notify Breakers Stereo & Performance of any damage that occurred during shipment or items lost in transit. Please see below for contact information.
Note: Pictures of damaged package(s) is required
Warranty Exchange time:
After we receive your product, we normally process the exchange or refund within three business days. Some items may require additional testing or evaluation. Depending on the product it may require an off-site manufacturer inspection; thus, increasing the turn-around time significantly.

The following terms are for the Brick and Mortar Location(s):
Labor Warranty-Limited lifetime warranty, in the event of abuse, (subject to manufacturer and/or Breakers Stereo & Performance discretion) labor limited lifetime warranty is voided
Product with lifetime Warranty- Labor warranty eligible up to 1 year
Manufacturer Defect- Labor warranty eligible up to 1 year
Workmanship Defect- Workmanship defect to be assessed at the sole discretion of Breakers Stereo & Performance and if deemed a defect or not up to standard, Breakers Stereo & Performance will reasonably perform labor at no cost to customer
Customer Tampering- Tampering with the product with “reckless disregard” for the fact that it might cause destruction, malfunction, intermittent functionality, voids warranty. Blown, punctured or fried speakers, subwoofers and amplifiers void warranty. Visible or physical damage not limited to but including: damage caused by gravity, driver cone or surround damaged due to panel interference, over excursion, driver “ported”, terminal broken off or melted, finger poking, mishandling, water and/or other liquids, welded/melted/burned voice coils or destroyed formers will not be covered under limited lifetime warranty.
Returns: 30 day return for credit policy on open boxed items, items that have been installed or attempted to be installed. Items to be returned must be in the aforementioned “Returnable Condition”. Seven day return for refund policy on all new, unopened, uninstalled items.
NO RETURNS/REFUNDS: On special order items, deposits of any kind, ALL LABOR, pre-cut wire, software, downloads, and made-to-order-items
All warranties are Non-transferable, for original purchaser ONLY
Any and all item(s) left on location will be disposed of at the beginning of business on the 7th day from when they were left: including wheels, tires, etc. Customer relinquishes any claim to said item(s)
Tires- Subject to manufacturer discretion and warranty, NO ROAD HAZARD, if approved, refund will be given in the form of a prorated check for remaining tire life or, if applicable, a new tire(s). TIRES MUST BE SENT to the Manufacturer for inspection and may take up to 30 days for decision.

Warranties with purchasing through a financial institution:
Due to the diverse financial/leasing programs we offer and the various purchasing options available, some purchases may not be eligible for returns or be eligible for a refund. The financing institution may opt to retrieve the items themselves or may charge other fees, including but not limited to; restock, return payment, interest, buyout, and service.
We do not share your contact information with any 3rd parties. We collect information about how customers shop on our site such as what links you click on in order to help improve the site shopping experience. All credit card information and payment information is sent to payment processors in an encrypted way to protect your privacy and information.
