The Alpine X S-65C is one of those things you hold close to dearly and never want to let go.
In terms of sound quality, these blasts a lot of other speakers within their range… Within a certain limit, of course. The highs are crystal clear with a smooth roll-off and the mids give you that full range of sound while maintaining that “thump” you need from many genres of music. In turn, you also take advantage of the “oversized” tweeter and a broader frequency response that softly sings details. In some cases, you will think to yourself, “I’ve never heard that sound in this song before.”
For the most part, granted, these are a higher-end lineup that Alpine provides for clients who are looking to expand their system. If you’re an Alpine fan, you know every update of the X series just gets better and better and these definitely are the best to come out of their engineers.
